Kilian's Robot Shop of Horrors - 03/08/2002
Peter got this contruction set for his birthday. |
Occasionally we get carried away at RSOH. (This was a birthday card that Peter received.) |
Brynn found this car on sale at Target. |
You program it by drawing on a digitizer pad. |
Then it drives around following your path. |
Brynn was whining around around about his racket ball wrist. Aparently his pin-pulling therapy from RSOH 2/8/02 didn't resolve his condition. |
Brynn brought this old 1/2 inch tape drive. |
This is the back of the tape drive. |
Brynn took one of the motors apart. |
It has this optical speed sensor on the back. |
This is a sample of the C8051F300 CPU that Alan got. |
We opened up Alan's new Dell computer to admire the mechanical construction. |
The new Dell computer has a wake-on-lan feature. So we spent some time trying to wake it up from the Unix workstation. |
We stayed a little too late and this is the ice on Jeff's windows. |
Here is Brynn scaping his car. |
