Here are some quick screen shots of my laser triangulation system. I just got it running again last night. (6/20/2007)
The screen shows the odd and even video fields. One field has the laser turned on and the other field has the laser turned off. Then you see the result of subtracting the non-laser image from the laser image.
The last box shows the extracted data. The blue dots are the resulting pixel intensity after the subtract. The red dots represnt the brightest pixel on that scan line. The red dot information represents distance. The closer to the left side of the image the greater the distance.
